Rachit leads the Data Centre practice for India region and is the Co-Head for the Markets (Office Brokerage) business of JLL for Mumbai city.
With under 16 years of real estate leasing, investments and data centre experience in India, Rachit holds a reputation of being a respected trusted advisor in the space of corporate real estate practices and developer operations across the country.
Prior to leading the business for JLL in Mumbai, Rachit was seconded to a Transaction Management role with Accenture, one of the largest corporate clients for JLL in India. Here, he was involved with the strategic planning and activities like costs savings plans, best practices, master planning and overall portfolio strategies. During this period Rachit played transaction support on 4 SEZ Campus transactions, ~1 – 1.5 mil sf in Chennai, Bangalore, Gurgaon and Pune.
During his tenure, Rachit has concluded transactions for upwards of 10.3 million sf (Key large clients include Accenture, BNP Paribas, CSC, SCB and Bank of America ML, Huntsman, Capgemini) across 290+ deals. He has been extremely mobile and worked in 4 cities during with JLL including New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and New York.
Rachit was awarded as “Most Valuable Player” and “Transaction Megastar” consistently for the years 2008 through till 2015 for concluding the largest office transactions (by value) in the country. Rachit has been the largest revenue generator for JLL in the India Region on a consistent basis, which has been possible only because of the strong JLL culture of being a trusted ethical advisor to clients at every juncture. Rachit has also been awarded as “Client Service Champion”, and strongly believes in the Client First ideology.
